Founded in 1973
The first Keeshond to join Gavimir was Rhinevale Roitelet of Gavimir (Ch. Ledwell Dutchman - Ch. Raffetta of Rhinevale) in 1973. Bred by the late Margo Emerson she was a wonderful foundation brood to our line, producing a champion and CC winner in each of her four litters:

In 1980 Gavimir Verbena was mated to Kwintex Katterwaad and from this litter of 7 came our greatest homebred winner Ch. Gavimir Nighthawk with 36 CC's to his credit (all won under different judges). Amongst his many wins were 8 Utility groups, 3 Reserve Ch. BIS and BIS at Blackpool Championship show 1985. His progeny include:

Ch. Gavimir Fennec was mated to Ch. Swashway the Pirate in 1987, from this litter came Ch. Gavimir Stirling Silver of Annanette, Ch. Gavimir Seed Pearl and Ch. Gavimir Quail Hawk from a repeat mating. Ch. Gavimir Seed Pearl was mated to Ch. Vanwall Delaware in 1990 producing Ch. Gavimir Kiri, whose son, Ch. Gavimir Fern Owl sired our lovely Ch. Gavimir Truffle. In 1999 she was mated to Ch. Foxifayre Oklahoma at Ledwell and from the resultant litter came Am. & Eng. Ch. Gavimir Musk Rose with a repeat mating producing Ch. Gavimir Kestrel.
From Kestrel’s first litter Gavimir Firecracker has won 3 BPIS, 1 RBIS and 1 BIS at 14 months of age. We look forward to seeing his daughters from his second litter Gavimir English Rose and Gavimir Eternal Flame in the ring in 2007.
Ch. Gavimir Pink Pearl was mated to Valindale Wisky Mak in 2003 producing Ch. Gavimir Hubble Bubble who became our 21st homebred champion and also won BCC at Crufts 2007. It is hoped to mate her towards the end of this year.
